Prize Saver
Save & Win with our new Prize Saver Account!
Saving into a Prize Saver account gives you up to 200 entries into a prize draw with a jackpot of £5000 every month, with lots of smaller prizes as well!
First Rate Credit Union has joined together with the Association of British Credit Unions and 14 Credit Unions across the country to bring you the Prize Saver Account!
Every £1 in your PrizeSaver account gives you 1 entry into the monthly prize draw (up to 200 entries). Prize Saver account holders are automatically entered into the draw every month. The maximum number of entries for each person is 200, equal to £200 in savings.
The number of entries you have in each month’s draw will be based on your account balance on the last day of the previous month (up to 200 entries). For example, your entries into the February draw will be determined by the balance in your account on the last day in January.

Prize Saver FAQs
The prize saver account is open to anyone who also has a regular saver account with First Rate Credit Union. If you are not already a member, you would need to join first.
Every month there is one prize of £5,000, and 10 bonus prizes of £50 and 10 bonus prizes of £20.
Every £1 in a prize saver account gives you one entry to the draw (up to a maximum of 200).
As of January 2024, a total of 1924818 tickets were entered.
The prize draw will usually take place on the 15th of each month. If the 15th of the month falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the draw may take place on a different date.
The return on a PrizeSaver account is the chance to win prizes. The savings in the account do not attract interest or dividends.
Existing members need to open a Prize Saver account and move money into it for a chance to win.
The maximum savings cap of £50,000 per member still applies. You can transfer money between accounts though.
