AGM
First Rate Credit Union will hold its next Annual General Meeting in February 2026. This marks a shift from recent years, when the AGM took place in December.
The change is driven by the additional work involved in bringing new auditors and accountants on board for the 2025 financial year. The transition requires more preparation time to ensure the year-end accounts are accurate, fully reviewed, and ready for member approval. Moving the AGM to February gives the new audit partners the time they need to complete their work to the required standard.
The credit union expects to return to its usual schedule in future years once the onboarding process is complete. Members will receive the formal notice and meeting papers in January, in line with regulatory timelines.
